Jay Rolloff – Criminal Defense Attorney

I believe that a strong defense is founded on three key principles: experience; aggression; and dedication. Good results – be they victories at trial or plea-bargains that match my client’s expectations – don’t come easy, and I’ve learned that the only way to get them what they deserve is to outwork the government’s attorneys, to demonstrate to them where their cases are weak, and to take advantage of those shortcomings when necessary.

Most people who sit down with are very scared about what’s happening to them. Not only are they worried about what might go on in court, they’re also quite concerned about their families, their jobs and their futures and whether or not they can trust me to understand that and to then go out and do whatever it takes to fight for them.

Trust me, I get it.

Unlike nearly every other Minnesota Criminal Defense Attorney out there, I have a (let’s say) unique perspective on the criminal justice system – both from my own personal experience and from my time working as a prosecutor.

If you want someone who knows what you’re truly going through – and who understands the government’s schemes and motivations, I doubt you are going to find anyone more qualified than me to represent you.

Plus, I also get that my clients put their faith (and their fates) into my hands. In return for that trust, I strive to treat each and every one of them like they’re my first client, my last client and my only client.

A Traditional, Principled and Rigorously Honest Approach

You know, there was a time when lawyers were called counselors.  And that was because they counseled their clients – one-on-one – in the the law.  They explained best and worst case scenarios, the likelihood of winning at trial, or why resolving the case with a plea bargain was the best course of action. In my opinion, somewhere along the way that kind of honest and open service was been replaced by people only looking out for themselves – and their own bottom lines.  I don’t do that.

If we meet to discuss your case and if I determine that there’s nothing that I can do for you – I’ll tell you that.  If there’s something that you can do for yourself – like just paying a fine to make it go away – I’m not going to take your hard earned money and go into court with you to do what you could’ve done alone. Frankly, it’s stuff like that that makes all attorneys look bad and I’ll have none of it.

Now, more often than not you are going to need the services of a Twin Cities Criminal Defense Attorney or Minnesota DWI Lawyer, because he or she is going to be the most effective advocate for what you’d like to see accomplished in your case – but you shouldn’t have to go broke paying for it.

Why Me?

I became a Minnesota Criminal Defense Lawyer & DWI Attorney because I noticed that people were being overcharged and underserved.  I also saw that their true concerns were not being heard or taken into consideration by the system.

If you’re looking for someone who understands what you’re going through, who’ll take the time to listen to you – to understand what you would like to see happen in your case, and if you want someone who’ll do that for you at a price that takes into account just how hard you work for your money – than look no further.  Contact me today by calling 612.234.1165 – or fill out the form below – to set up your free, no-obligation consultation and let’s find out how I can help you.
